Reporting behaviour

Use the Report button during the conversation. It is not a formality — reporting in the app attaches the session to the case, which is what lets a moderator confirm the two of you actually met. A report by email cannot do that.

Urgent safety issues

For anything involving a minor, a threat, or non-consensual recording, write to . Include the approximate time in UTC and the country shown on the other person's identity bar.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Kahoo is a small team and cannot act at that speed.

Appealing a restriction

Appeals are made from your account page, not by email — that way the appeal is attached to the restriction it is about. Each restriction can be appealed once, and a person reads it.

What we cannot do

• We cannot tell you who reported or blocked you. That protects everyone, including you.
• We cannot retrieve a conversation. There is no recording and no transcript to retrieve.
• We cannot reconnect you with someone you met. Kahoo has no directory and no search.
