Questions people actually ask
Is Kahoo free?
Yes. Guests get 10 minutes of video chat per day at no cost, and signing in with Google removes that limit. There is nothing to buy.
Do I need to sign in?
No. You can start as a guest after confirming you are 18 or older. Signing in gives you unlimited chat time, a profile, and the ability to follow people you enjoyed talking to.
Can other people see where I live?
They see your country, and nothing more precise unless you explicitly turn on showing your state or region. Kahoo never reveals your IP address or your exact location to anyone.
Are calls recorded?
No. Video and audio travel directly between the two browsers and are never stored. Text chat is relayed live and is not kept after the conversation ends.
What happens when I press Next?
The current call ends immediately, the other person is told you moved on, and you go straight back into the queue to meet someone else.
What if someone behaves badly?
Report them, block them, or both. Reports are weighed rather than counted, so a single person cannot get someone banned by pressing the button repeatedly — and repeated credible reports lead to a warning, then a six-month restriction, then a permanent ban.
